What distinguishes CEP from secular marriage courses is its focus on the spiritual dimension. The speakers helped us appreciate the sacramental nature of Christian marriage and how we could always draw strength from God and His Church through prayer and the sacraments. And as we spouses 'help each other to Heaven', we know that we have a faith-filled community supporting us every step of the way.

We attended CEP in '17 at Church of St Ignatius.  Through the sessions, we learnt to communicate with each other effectively, put Christ in the centre of our marriage and recognise that our spouses are gifts to each other!

CEP was a lifesaver for us: it showed us all the things we didn't know marriage was actually about, it gave us the tools to navigate through those tough times couple inevitably come across and it gave us the hope and vision necessary to undertake and follow through on this journey.  It literally was God sent!

Allyson & I have experienced many many couple programmes but we will cherish our time at CEP@CGS the most. We've never laughed so hard and cried so much. We can safely and gladly say we are ever more in love with each other. Infused with rich teachings of the Catholic Church, this Catechesis in Marriage & Family is brought to life by the raw, deep, honest and courageous sharing of the presenting couples. It is an ingenious fusion of science, psychology and art with the human and the divine woven beautifully by the Holy Spirit.

The programme surpassed our expectations... (it) has given us a deeper understanding of ourselves, of each other and what it means to live a Christian marriage. We've learnt to communicate so much better with each other and that definitely makes us better parents. It was so inspiring listening to and being surrounded by couples committed to making their marriages stronger ... what really made it possible for us to attend the sessions was the fantastic childminding services they provided. Overall a very deep and powerful experience that every married couple should have.
